Artist Statement
Most of my artwork is related to what I see around me in the moment. Walking, hiking, gardening, and traveling will often inspire an idea for a painting. I feel that watercolor is a wonderful medium for these subjects. The translucent nature and glow of watercolor is lovely to work with and, for me, helps to create the image I am trying to achieve in my artwork.
Bio
I began using watercolors about 10 years ago, studying locally. Then, opened an Etsy Business “Green Lady Art” 2021-2022 selling small prints and note cards of my originals.
Previously a member of “The Artists Undertaking Gallery” in Occoquan, VA for two years 2021-2023, serving as a Co-chair for the gallery from 2022 to 2023.
